Raaaaarrr!!

I think I need some strange creature to come and light the fire under me. It has come to my attention that I have a LOT to do before Christmas, and very little time in which to do it all. This evening I walked in a beautiful snow back and forth from the movies. I probably should have stayed in and worked on some things, but I didn't. Then, once home, despite being full from eating a large popcorn, I had more snacks, followed by painting. Now, though I sit at the computer with my list of To Do's before me, I busy my hands with a bag of candy and avoid them. Aware of my procrastination, I've ferreted out this nice beast from the many little publicly unseen artworks which fill files upon files of my many hard drives to help me out. This is a drawing I've scanned into my computer and digitally painted with color and texture, and if anyone needs me to send him over to help you get your things done, just give me a shout.

Oh, how I wish he could help me. I am in the same rut as you...... so much to do, no ambition. I thought I had another week?? No?? Where did it go? Boyfriends birthday tomorrow. Daughters birthday Friday. Come on. Isnt December full enough already....lol.
If your lil guy can get me in gear, I'd be forever in your debt!

Ooooh, does he bite? I definitely need one that bites!!! I keep thinking, just one more day and I'll get everything done...and then the day is over and my list is filled with a few more things I forgot to add. Tis the season:) Oh, how I long for January!!!
Good luck getting YOUR things done:)

so cute. love the sound of the walk through the snow. it's been so magical this year for some reason.

of course, i say that now—BEFORE we are supposed to get pummeled with 15 inches over night. :)

I must admit that this black creature is actually not mean. He is ticklish under the arms and if you reach out and 'get him' as he "Raaarrrs" at you, well then, he will crumble. Just don't tickle him if you expect help in getting your things done.

PS...we are expecting snow tomorrow and I am very excited. There is no such thing as too much snow to me.

The legs and arms on your little monster look like musical notes ...which makes him look friendly and helpful ! ha ha
I love the texture too

Merry Christmas !

Yes, I photograph and scan any surfaces I can think of among my variety of eclectic old things. They are wonderful for adding texture to my artwork. :)

Oh, I love this little guy! I think I need an army of them to come help me out. I've been very tired and lazy lately, and not getting the stuff done that I need to. He looks like just the person to help me out!

Since I'm sitting here on the couch with laptop, I would say I could use the services of your little guy there. Is he a muse? or rather an attack thing who will snarl if I don't head up to the studio like right away?

I could definitely be persuaded by that guy. Too bad I didn't find him before Christmas.

Hahaha, well, he lurks around, so if you need him during the year, just give out a yoller!
