Brooklyn Flea Market
I spent an unusually chilly Sunday (complete with gale force winds) at an indoor Flea Market in Brooklyn's One Hanson Building, which used to be a bank at one time. It was a beautiful setting for vintage finds, and a nice time with my best friend. Check it out if you're in the area!

Looks a little dangerous to the old pocketbook (at least for me anyways). I love useless old junk (it's just so pretty!)
OH what fun! And such a neat building. Did you buy anything?? :--) xo Sandy
Diana, oh how like you I am!!!
Sandy, I came close, but ended up walking away. I might be back, though!
I love the pink typwriter & the clocks! Marie should have that pink typwriter!
yes, it was gorgeous, Beth! My friend bought a few of the clocks. They were spectacular with loud 'antique' sounding ticking.
How wonderfully nostalgic. I would have certainly enjoyed walking through just for the feeling of being there.
We have some of the best flea markets, Bill! And for me, yes, just to even go and look at everything is just as fun for me!
sMacThoughts!

I so wish I could've gone bargain shopping with you that day!

Wow this place looks amazing!
Reminded me a little of one of the flea market we have around here but this building is something else...
how freakin' cool. it looks like a great flea market. so jealous you have that at your fingertips. i think i need to come to brooklyn.
Yes, we have the best flea markets!! This is my first time out of Manhattan... just as good as in the city!
I wish we had flea markets like this in Seattle!
You don't Tara?? I'd think Seattle would have some awesome ones!
Oh how I love places like this! Ever been to the Brimfield shows? Over 2000 dealers lining 1 1/4 miles along Route 20 in Massachusetts. May, June and September, usually the second week each of those months.
OH no, Beverly, but I think I must try that out!!!!!
Oh man, those clocks!!! I wish I had been there. I need to add to my clock collection. Your photos of this event are great, Susan.
OH Jim, I wanted them all... and the sound of them all ticking.... I loved it!
oh, my goodness! i don't think i've ever seen a sweeter location for a flea market! i would have loved to have been there.
and i think i recognize a couple of those vinyls... i'm pretty sure we have that mathis recording.
