Down Time

I'll be painting and doodling more, and doing lots of creative things whenever the fog rolls in, or the sun stays hidden, and the air is filled with biting, salty, chilly spray. Like today. Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Don't you love days like that? A time when you can sit back and enjoy the smell of the cool air. It's fun to just roll up your sleeves and experiment with some painting techniques or anything creative, really.

Cheers!

ps. I feel like I've been reading for a week straight. I couldn't put these books down. That's how I've been spending my Down Time lately.

Reading is really such a luxury. I finished a book on the way to my seaside destination since it is such a long trip. I seem never to have the time, and I miss books!

I love it . I love them !

Right now, not reading. I always waffle on bringing a book on vacation since I love the beach so much (I am not a beach reader) I fear it will stress me out I am not doing my duty and reading, so I usually forego the book while on vacation.

But I did bring lots of things I had gesso-ed in advance, and other art/creative supplies...all sorts of paper, paint, brushes, pencils, etc.

Yes, I doodle and sketch constantly. These are a blip on my sketch radar. ;)
