My Metropolis

This is a glimpse of a series I started last Spring (2009) entitled The Carbon Project.  It involves photographs of random (preferably non-famous) Manhattan buildings processed in Camera Raw (no filters or special effects) to look like etchings or drawings.  You can see the project slowly unfold HERE.  Or you can simply click on this photo for a better look.

Victoria .... Sometimes living here is like another world. I try to capture that sense, often, in my NYC photography, and often, I tend to avoid capturing any people in my shots. The reason for this is because in a city so large, with so many and so many different kinds of people, it still manages to make one feel alone. This project is just another extension of that feeling.

Beth .... hand to my throat, oh my, thank you!!

Gorgeous shots, sMacThoughts!

Was this collection ever displayed/on exhibit? If not, will it be?
